- I will choose to trust God with unexpected changes.

- I will clean up after myself and leave every place better than I found it.

- I will refrain from improper physical contact with the opposite gender.

- I choose to be excited about opportunities to be a servant.

- I will risk “looking like a fool” to reach those around me.

Encouragement

- I will not complain (about food, weather, living conditions, etc.) but will choose to have a

positive attitude.

- I will look for opportunities to encourage those around me.

- I will include anyone who is being left out.

Devoted

- I will spend time with God before breakfast with the team using the handbook devotional

pages, and prepare for the day’s ministries.

- I will be interactive and engaged in all activities, not dropping out or slacking.

Obvious

- I will not do stupid things that will jeopardize myself, my teammates, or the mission.

- I will not wander off on my own and be on time and keep track of my belongings, or I will

get people to help me so that I can.

Mission

- I am on a mission’s trip (not a vacation or shopping trip) – I will keep the “mission of Jesus” as my focus.

- I will follow the dress code in order to help accomplish the mission.

- I will reach out of my comfort zone with Jesus’ love to my missionary hosts and people I meet.
